Run Collective Trail Run - Bothas Hill

Third in the Summer Series is the Run Collective Trail Run! Nestled in the heart of the Valley of 1000 Hills, this event delivers sweeping climbs, rolling trails, and breathtaking views that showcase one of KZN’s most iconic landscapes. After the sugar farm trails of Bishopstowe and the rolling hills of Mt Moreland, Run Collective turns up the intensity and sets the stage for the ultimate finale at Table Mountain.

Starting in scenic Bothas Hill, this route takes you through breathtaking landscapes, winding past lush valleys and along ridgelines with sweeping views of the majestic and expansive valley of 1000 hillscape. Every step immerses you in the raw beauty of the area, making this more than just a run – it’s a journey.

The beloved South African artist Jeremy Loops will be performing live at the beautiful Fig Tree Farm on Sunday, 16 November.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Fig Tree Farm, this is the ideal opportunity to share a beautiful day of food and music with your loved ones. Bring your picnic blankets and settle in for an unforgettable afternoon with friends and family. There will be fully stocked bars with all your favourite drinks as well as tantalizing food stalls.

Upper Highway Trail Marathon 2025

The Upper Highway Trail Marathon (UHTM) is an iconic trail marathon held in the Upper Highway of Durban, South Africa linking many of the area’s amazing trails and conservancies.  Proceeds raised are donated to the conservancies to help sustain, support and showcase the natural beauty of the area.

A nature lover’s paradise, it boasts…
• 7 conservancies
• 6 river eco systems
• 3 waterfalls
• 274 indigenous tree species
• 40+ indigenous mammal species
• 169 butterfly species

It takes place in December with entries booking up fast.
